I fight for life. I fight for children.

Fighting for Children is a nonprofit organization established to develop photographic & video portrayal of foster children in need of adoption. In association with televised professional fighting events produced by MKM Knockout Promotions, LLC, top male and female fighters from around the world endorse foster children for adoption prior to their televised bouts. Fight purses are matched by corporate sponsors to fund the foundation. The fighters compete for a cause, the sponsors receive high visibility, and the portrayal of the child personalizes the selection process for parents in a way that a description alone could never do.

In connection with foster care-related organizations and adoption agencies, Fighting for Children heightens awareness of the need for adoptive homes throughout America and brings positive attention to the adoption process. It demonstrates the need for children of all ages to find permanent, adoptive homes.

The program is aimed at public outreach and exposure for foster children by placing a face on an individual child on national television. As children are increasingly "lost in the system" it has become more important to provide role models for these children and to see role models literally "fighting for them" and portraying them to the public in a positive light.

A personal message from Master Mehrdad

When I hold my child in my arms, it drives me to accomplish great things in life. As a father, I have trouble accepting that anyone would harm an innocent child or deprive a child of food, medicine, clothing or a home. To know that there are children in our world suffering is unacceptable. My mission in life is to help children in need and protect children from harm. Color,ethnicity, religion... it does not matter. A child does not choose where he is born or what circumstances he is born into. Please join our efforts to make a difference in the lives of children all over the world.
